Masons are laying the rust brick facade at Sloan’s Corner, with window installation following floor by floor behind them. The building remains on schedule for its April 2027 opening, with eight of nine market-hall bays pre-leased.
The concrete frame at Sloan’s Corner reached its full five-story height this month, two years after Fund IV closed on the site. Crews signed the final beam before it was set overlooking Sloan’s Lake.
Kestrel & Pike has called the final tranche of Fund IV equity, fully funding construction at Sloan’s Corner. The fund is now fully invested, and planning for Fund V is underway for 2027.
Our largest completed building opened on East Colfax with string lights, food tents and the whole block invited. The Kestrel delivers 36 deed-restricted homes at 60% AMI and a chef-owned restaurant on the corner plaza.
Chestnut Row opened on schedule despite lockdowns and supply shocks, with Elena Sandoval running the site through the toughest spring in the firm’s history. It remains the delivery we are proudest of.
Alta Alameda opened on South Broadway carrying the firm’s first deed-restricted affordability agreement, written in public workshops with the neighborhood. Its ground-floor grocer opened the same week.
